The workshop in brief:
The aim of the workshop, in which a number of the university’s lecturers and staff attended, in addition to students, was to improve the students’ knowledge about CEDAW, gender equality and gender-based violence.

Session topics:
- The first part of the event consisted of a number of presentations in relation to CEDAW and women’s rights issues. This was then followed by an educational session for the students.

The outcome of the Program assessment workshop by QA:
It was a great opportunity for the students to come together and share their ideas and views on the topic and to suggest ways for the improvement of societal cohesion in the Kurdistan Region.
