Department: Physics
The aims of this workshop were to provide an opportunity for the experts in the field of Nanotechnology to present their research findings, and to provide a forum to learn about exciting, ground-breaking researches occurring in Nanotechnology.
The 4th International Nanotechnology Workshop was performed as planned on Monday 28th, December 2020 in two sessions. It was organized by the department of physics education at TIU. The participants joined the workshop through the zoom link which was published before on the website of the department of physics education. A detailed workshop program and an abstract book of the presentations were also provided on the webpage.
The program started with the promotional video of Tishk International University. Then the board of trustee of Tishk International University, Dr. Idris Hadi gave an introduction speech. After a brief history of nanotechnology workshops, the Keynote speeches started. There were 6 Keynote speeches, 2 of them were guest speakers from the outside of Iraq. One of them was Prof. Dr. Mogalahalli Venkatesh Reddy from Canada, and the other one was Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mansoob Khan from Brunei.
More than 250 people attended in campus and through online medium.
