The workshop in brief: On 16th February 2023 and 9th March 2023, the Faculty of Nursing has arranged a National Workshop titled “Basic Life Support”. The Workshop was Organized by Mr. Hilal Farouq and Mrs. Asmaa Yaseen, and presented bay: Dr. Dara Abdulla, Mr. Hial Farouq and Mrs. Asmaa Yaseen. Participants involved Pharmacy and Nursing Departments Staff and Student. The aim was to explain and present lifesaving maneuvers in order to raise student and staff awareness regarding Basic Life Support. So, one day they can save lives.
Objectives:
• To know the emergency action plan and how to care for the casualty in the different emergency situations.
• To demonstrate and re-demonstrate the basic practical procedures in the first aid.
Participants: 33 staff from TIU participated in the workshop.
