On October 24, 2019, Medical Analysis Department in Tishk International University, Echo Organization, Chro Project along with the support of Ministry of Health organized a National Workshop for Breast Cancer Awareness at TIU Campus which consisted of two activities; a Seminar which discussed BSE (Breast Self-Examination) and Screening opportunity to Guests, Staff, and Students of TIU. The Workshop was opened by the President of TIU Dr. Idris Hadi who gave his welcoming speech followed by Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Karzan Mohammad along with Dr. Suzan Hoshyar Qader who is the Head of Breast Center in Erbil. Then, BSE Presentation was presented by Dr. Narmeen Taha Mustafa; General Surgeon and Breast Cancer Specialist. The Screening of participants was done by Dr. Nask Mahmood Majeed, Dr. Suzan Hoshyar Qader, Dr. Samya Jalal Faqe, Dr. Sofya Akbar Ismael, Dr. Shilan Hamad Abdullah, Dr. Narmeen Taha Mustafa, Dr. Sawen Khasro Dizayee, and Dr. Lezan Jalal Ali Shah who are Oncologists and work at the Breast Center.
