The workshop in brief: Diabetes awareness campaigns with diverse themes are usually celebrated globally on the 14th of November marking World Diabetes Day.
In mid-November, we aim to highlight World Diabetes Day by holding this workshop.
Our objective was to raise awareness regarding the impact of diabetes on individuals and society and promote the importance of early diagnosis and preventive measures such as healthier lifestyles.
Our speakers presented advancing techniques and medications used in their specialty and emphasized the role of the pharmacist and their collaboration with physicians and patient counseling for better health outcomes.
We also planned outside hall activities such as blood glucose tests, flashcards, games, BMI measurements, poster presentations, and others.

Outcome of the workshop:
The outcome of the diabetes workshop was positive, with participants gaining a better understanding of managing their condition through diet, exercise, and medication. They learned about the importance of blood sugar monitoring, healthy eating, and the benefits of regular physical activity. Participants also received resources and support for managing their diabetes and improving their overall health. Overall, the workshop was a success in empowering individuals to take control of their diabetes and make positive lifestyle changes.
