The aim of the program was to celebrate the global entrepreneurship week and the workshop has provided a platform for entrepreneurs to share and exchange the ideas.
Participants: There were 30 attendees in the workshop.
Place: Tishk International University.
- Session one was about the obstacles of starting a venture and the ecosystem.
- Session two was about how two entrepreneurs have started their ventures.
- Muhamad Salam
Muhamad Salam is the founder and the CEO of Meraki Ventures; he had been awarded the entrepreneur of the year in 2017 at the Rwanga awards.
- Mr Salar Faiq
Salar Faiq is the founder and CEO of PI Marketing agency. He is a multilingual marketing and IT specialist with professional qualifications in computer engineering.
- Lanah Haddad
An archaeologist and worked in the past 10 years in different international projects, especially in the MENA-region. Driven by the motivation of building bridges to reconnect people with their heritage, she created a board game based on Mesopotamian heritage and founded an Iraqi Board Game Start-up under the name Urbilum.
As outcome of the workshop, we have celebrated the Entrepreneurship week, which is celebrated worldwide and the students have learned from the experience of entrepreneurs. The workshop became a platform for the entrepreneurs and students to exchange their ideas.
