The workshop in brief:
1. To raise awareness about the potential of community mapping and conflict resolution as educational development tools and share knowledge about their applications and benefits.
2. To create a forum for participants to exchange best practices, research findings, and case studies related to community mapping and conflict resolution in educational development contexts.
3. To explore the challenges and opportunities associated with using community mapping and conflict resolution in different educational settings, such as formal and non-formal education, and across diverse cultural contexts.
4. To identify gaps in knowledge and practice related to community mapping and conflict resolution in educational development and to propose strategies for addressing these gaps.
5. To develop recommendations for policymakers, educational leaders, and practitioners to improve the use of community mapping and conflict resolution in educational development initiatives.
6. To promote community, the use of mapping and conflict resolution to foster inclusive and participatory educational development processes that are responsive to the needs and perspectives of local communities.

AUGUSTO GAMUZZA · Professor in Sociology at University of Catania, Department of Education Sciences and researcher at ISIG (Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia) and CUrE (Interdepartmental Research Center for the Community University Engagement – University of Catania).
2. MR. BERNARDO MONZANI · President of the Agency of Peace building. · Peacebuilding and conflict resolution expert who has worked for both NGOs and the UN.
Based on the presentations and active discussion which have been done during the workshop the participants got the ability to:
· Increased awareness among participants about the potential of community mapping and conflict resolution as tools for educational development.
· Enhanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with using community mapping and conflict resolution in diverse educational contexts.
· Exchange of best practices, research findings, and case studies related to community mapping and conflict resolution in educational development contexts.
· Improved networking and collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and community members interested in community mapping and conflict resolution for educational development.
· Promotion of the use of community mapping and conflict resolution to foster inclusive and participatory educational development processes that are responsive to the needs and perspectives of local communities.
