The workshop aims to introduce final-year architecture students to the Tamayouz Excellence Award. This session focuses on understanding the competition’s importance, submission details, and the impact on professional growth.
Objectives

• Professional Development: Emphasize the competition’s benefits for career opportunities.

• Engagement: Q&A session to clarify doubts and ensure readiness for participation.
Participants: The workshop was attended by more architecture students, and instructors particularly those working on their final graduation projects. The presenters tailored to equip these students and instractors with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the Tamayouz Excellence Award.
Place: Tishk International University_ Main Building, Room no. 302.
The workshop was structured as different sessions lasting three hours, as the following;
• Summary to the Tamayouz Award: This part covered the scope of the award, the submission process, and the evaluation criteria.
• Question and Answer Segment: This was a dedicated session allowing for interactive discussion and clarification of any queries related to the competition.
The presenters for the workshop, Abdullah Bashar and Lona Qaidar, are professional architects and also serve as evaluators in the Tamayouz Excellence Award competition.
The workshop successfully met its objectives, providing a comprehensive introduction to the award and its significance in the architectural field. Participants left with a better understanding of the award's submission guidelines and evaluation criteria, which is crucial for their professional development.
In the other session on creating different forms using related tools significantly enhanced their design skills. The question and answer segment further enriched their learning experience, allowing direct interaction with experienced professionals, thus ensuring that all participants were well-prepared and informed about the competition process. This workshop was instrumental in equipping future architects with the knowledge and skills needed for their careers.
