The workshop in brief: Other information about the Event:
The ITETI National Workshop on Game Development, held on May 26th, 2024, at TIU, featured expert presenters from Tornet Company who guided 43 students through theoretical and practical aspects of game development. The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge, provide hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and Unity, and connect students with industry professionals. It also focused on boosting career prospects and fostering industry collaboration, successfully equipping participants with valuable skills and insights in game development.

Participants: 43 Most of them students from IT department, computer engineering and computer education. In addition to few staff from IT department and computer education.

Date and time: May 26th, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Place: Tishk International University_ Seminar Hall no. 302

Session topics: 
Two sessions, first focus on theory and second on technical aspects of these topics:
First Session: Theoretical Concepts of Game Development
• Overview of game development principles
• Introduction to various game engines and their capabilities
• Discussion of game design methodologies and best practices
Second Session: Practical Session on Building a Simple 3D Game using Unreal Engine
• Step-by-step demonstration of creating a basic 3D game
• Hands-on practice with Unreal Engine
• Practical implementation of theoretical concepts discussed in the first session
