1. The Faculty of Pharmacy, Tishk International University organized 1st national Workshop by September 28, 2023 in title on Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences (ETPS). The aim of national workshop is to: Knowledge Enrichment: To provide participants with in-depth knowledge and insights into recent advances and innovations in the pharmaceutical sciences, equipping them with the latest information to stay at the forefront of the field.

2. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: To foster an interdisciplinary approach by bringing together experts from diverse fields, promoting cross-disciplinary discussions, and encouraging collaboration across various domains within pharmaceutical sciences.

3. Ethical Awareness: To facilitate an understanding of the ethical considerations in pharmaceutical research and development, emphasizing the importance of responsible scientific practices and ethical decision-making.

4. Global Perspectives: To offer a platform for participants to gain global viewpoints on pharmaceutical trends, enabling them to understand different regional approaches and perspectives in the field.

5. Innovation and Future Prospects: To inspire innovative thinking and identify future opportunities for research, collaboration, and growth within the pharmaceutical sciences, encouraging participants to explore novel research directions and contribute to the advancement of the field.

6. Networking and Collaboration: To provide a space for networking and collaboration, where participants can connect with experts and peers, fostering potential partnerships, joint research projects, and knowledge-sharing within the pharmaceutical community.

7. Scope Expansion: To attract professionals and researchers from various domains within pharmaceutical sciences, including pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, gene therapy, biotechnology, medical analysis, microbiology, and more, with the goal of expanding the scope and diversity of the scientific community in pharmaceutical sciences.

1. Opening Speech: Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin, President of TIU, Erbil, Kurdistan, delivered the opening speech.
2. Welcome Address and Introduction: Dr. Ahmad Hamdy Ibrahim, the chair of the workshop, welcomed participants and provided an overview of the workshop. He also introduced keynote speakers and sessions.

3. Keynote Lecture 1: Dr. Hewa Abdullah, a renowned expert in pharmaceutical sciences, spoke on “Current Advances in Niosomal Drug Delivery.”
4. Keynote Lecture 2: Prof. Dr. Omar Qtiba Alella, an expert in Clinical Pharmacy, discussed “Clinical Pharmacy Education: New Approaches.”
5. Short Movie Presentation: A short film highlighted recent advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
6. Keynote Lecture 3: Dr. Botan, an expert in pharmacy, presented “Strategies to Prevent Medication Errors.”
7. Keynote Lecture 4: Assistant Prof. Dr. Shard, an expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing, discussed “Innovations in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.”
