The workshop in brief: The importance of law in society and the necessity to defend and advance human rights. He explained the relationship between human rights preservation and social promotion to ensure peace, stability, and social advancement. The second speaker, Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Qadir traced the history of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) to December 10th, 1948, following a United Nations General Assembly Resolution 217A.
Participants: 26 staff from inside and outside TIU participated in the workshop.
