The workshop in brief: Other information about the Event:
Based on the most recent edition of UN 17-SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals): Goal 3 is about Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 5 is about Gender Equality. This workshop will be held by the Nursing Department – Faculty of Nursing with the specific objectives listed below:
1. Raise Awareness: Increase participants’ understanding of sexual assault, its prevalence, and the impact it has on survivors and communities.
2. Provide Tools for Prevention: Equip attendees with practical strategies to prevent sexual assault and promote a culture of consent and respect.
3. Enhance Response Skills: Train participants on how to appropriately respond to disclosures of sexual assault, offering support and guidance to survivors.
4. Legal and Ethical Considerations: Educate attendees about the legal and ethical aspects related to sexual assault, ensuring they are well-informed and able to navigate these complexities.

Session one: Introduction of sexual assault.
Session two: Management and Istanbul protocol for sexual assault.
Session three: Rules and regulation for the sexually assaulted person in the Iraq law.
Session Four: Suicide safety plan and mind fullness for rape trauma syndrome.
Session five: Panel for questions and answers.
