The workshop in brief: 5 The workshop in brief + objectives In 1996, the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT), now known as World Physiotherapy, officially designated the 8th of September as World Physical Therapy Day to commemorate the founding of World Physiotherapy in 1951. This day provides an opportunity for physiotherapists worldwide to raise awareness about the essential role that their profession plays in maintaining people’s well-being, mobility, and independence. This year, the physiotherapy department at Tishk International University held a workshop on the 8th of September 2024 to commemorate World Physiotherapy Day.
Participants: 100 Participants (TIU Staff, Dean, Head of departments, lecturers and research assistant), outside audiences includes Doctors, Students and Physiotherapist from HMU and EPU Universities also all other relevant departmental students and staff in the TIU university).
