The workshop in brief:

The workshop is about Reference Management, explaining the reference styles and the computerized software helping in reference writing and citation in academic writing, this can save the time of the researchers and avoid mistakes.

Objectives:

To enable the participants to learn about using academic search engines like google scholar for finding reliable references for their academic writings.
To enable the participants to use different reference styles correctly and identify the variations between them.
To enable the participants to learn how to cite references correctly and scientifically.
To enable the participants to use Endnote Program Software for citation and reference management to perform efficient and effective writings while submitting their case reports, conference publications, scientific articles, and thesis writings.
To enable the participants to learn how to save their writing time and enabling them to perform accurately by using computerized software.

Number of participants: 52 participants from Dentistry faculty staff-TIU, fifth grade students and some of master program students from Hawler Medical University attended the workshop.

Date and time: March 28, 2021 at 13:30.
Place: TIU, Dentistry Faculty Building.

Session topics:

A Brief introduction to citation and referencing.
Hands-on training for reference management using Endnote Program.
