The workshop in brief: Other information about the Event:
As part of departmental activities on SDG 15 Life on land and Supporting land ecosystems through education, The Biology Education Department of Tishk international University in collaboration with Hasar Organization organized the workshop entitled “Renewable Futures Panel: Pioneering Solutions for Climate Resilience. The followings were targeted objectives:
1. Emphasize the importance of education and individual awareness in addressing climate change and explore strategies to increase public engagement.
2. Discuss the necessity of localized approaches to climate resilience, focusing on community-specific strategies and actions.
3. Engaging panel discussions led by experts in environmental conservation and renewable energy.
4. Showcase of groundbreaking projects and initiatives driving climate resilience in Kurdistan Region.
5. Networking opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations passionate about sustainability.

• The importance of education and individual awareness in combating climate change, underscoring how informed citizens can make significant contributions to sustainability efforts.
• The necessity of local adaptations and actions in addressing climate change, demonstrating that tailored, community-specific strategies are essential for resilience.
• The significance of raising awareness among the younger generation and promoting actionable steps, ensuring that future leaders are equipped to tackle climate challenges.
