The workshop in brief: On December 16th, 2021 a National Workshop was organized by Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University titled “The 1st National Workshop on Effects of Child Abuse and Disorders on Growth and Development”. The Workshop was held at Main Building of Tishk International University and started at 9:30 Am with a welcoming speech from Dean of Faculty of Nursing Professor Dr. Hiwa Bakir Banna and lasted until 1:00 Pm. The Purpose of this Workshop was to discuss Child Development and Disorders Children might face due to abusing both physically and psychologically, to determine all the actions and behaviors considered as Child Abuse and might affect children’s well-being, psychological health, growth, and development. Almost 105 Attendees participated at this workshop where Speakers from Halwer Medical University and Tishk International University presented presentations with topics related to the Workshop along with Pediatrics and Forensic Medicine who participated at this Workshop.
