  • The first was a jurisprudential perspective, in which the position of Islamic Sharia on magic was clarified, along with its rulings and its religious and social implications.
  • The second was a legal perspective, which explained the circumstances under which magic constitutes a crime under Iraqi law and comparative legal systems.
