The workshop in brief : The workshop aims to elaborate on the concept of GIS and its applications in the field of engineering. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a system for capturing, storing, checking, and displaying data related to positions on Earth’s surface. GIS can show different kinds of data on one map, such as streets, buildings, and vegetation. This enables people to see, analyze, and understand patterns and relationships more easily.
