The workshop in brief:

Raise the scientific level of the participants in the subject of restorative dentistry since it takes a large part of the dental practice and it is a necessary branch in Dentistry that every Dentist should have a strong background about it.

Objectives:

  • To enable the participants to know the importance of saving the morphology of each tooth.
  • To enable the Participant to know the principles of dental cavity preparation.
  • To enable the participant to learn the artistic methods used in Restorative Dentistry.

To enable the participants to Know the significant clinical points required to perform esthetics and successful restoration.

Number of participants: 17 participants (from staff and 4th grade students had attended the workshop).

Date and time:  February 28, 2021 at 09:00.
Place: TIU, Dentistry Faculty Building.

Session topics: 

Theoretical part:

  1. Morphology of the Teeth.
  2. Cavity Preparation.
  3. Minimal Invasive Dentistry.
  4. Restorative Materials.
  5. Introduction to Artistic Elements Towards Restoration.
  6. Clinical Consideration.

Practical Part:

  1. Cavity Preparation.
  2. Hands on Restoration.
