The workshop in brief: The international workshop focuses on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and auditing principles. The workshop’s overview on IFRSs and IASs outlines, the adoption IFRSs and IASs, the usage status of IFRSs and IASs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and also focuses on a comparative case study between the local and international standards. · The objective of the workshop is to create awareness of IFRS standards and auditing principles among staff and accounting, banking, and finance students. Therefore, the workshop focuses on the importance of IFRS’s standards on one platform, which is in use in almost all countries in the world.
