The workshop in brief:

On June 24, 2019, both Petroleum & Mining Engineering Department and Research Centre at the Tishk International University (TIU) and the University of Calabria, Arcavacata, Cosenza, Italy organized a workshop entitled “Physical Chemistry Characterization of modified Bitumen” held at the TIU in Erbil.
At the beginning of the workshop (first session), an introduction about the current research activities was presented by Prof. Cesare Oliviero Rossi from the University of Calabria, Arcavacata, Cosenza, Italy.
In the followed session, Prof. Cesare Oliviero Rossi, from the University of Calabria, Arcavacata, Cosenza, Italy presented the topic entitled “Physical Chemistry Characterization of modified Bitumen” in the presence of more than 40 academic staffs from different Universities in Kurdistan Region, and also students.
At the end of the workshop an open discussion period was available for guests to enrich their knowledge in this field of technology. The workshop started at 10:00 a.m. and took place in the main Building of the TIU, room No 201.
