This national workshop on “New Approaches to Improve Teaching Quality of University Level Mathematics” endeavors to congregate Mathematics academicians and Mathematics Educationists from within the region to dissect the aforementioned topic. It is the hope of the organizing committee that invited experts will diagnose issues bedeviling university level Mathematics teaching, and hopefully prescribe possible solutions. Indeed the committee is optimistic that collaborations and partnerships with participating colleges and university may ensue as a byproduct of the workshop. The workshop therefore hopes to achieve the following objectives:
1- To diagnose problems, difficulties, hindrances, and unexpected pop-up problematic issues that lecturers encounter in the process of instructing students.
2- To brainstorm possible solutions to problems, difficulties, hindrances, and unexpected pop-up problematic issues that lecturers encounter in the process of instructing students.
3- To discuss and suggest possible roles the department can play in mitigating problems, difficulties, hindrances, and unexpected pop-up problematic issues that lecturers encounter in the process of instructing students.
