The 8th International Pharmacy Workshop was held on 6th May 2026 under the theme “Perspectives on Neurological Health: Redefining Patient-Centered Care.” It underscored the essential role of pharmacists in advancing community health and strengthening patient outcomes. The program invited participants to examine innovative management strategies for neurological conditions, including Stroke, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorder, and Intellectual disability. Emphasizing a transition from a solely clinical framework to a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, the workshop focused on promoting dignity, empowerment, and enhanced quality of life.
Objectives
· To understand major neurological conditions and their impact on quality of life.
· To promote a holistic, patient-centered approach to neurological care.
· To integrate medical, psychological, and social aspects in care planning.
· To develop practical skills for compassionate and inclusive practice.
· To enhance collaborative strategies for improving patient outcomes.
· To promote advocacy, equity, and stigma reduction in mental health care.
