Innovative Teaching Skills in Science
June 8, 2021

Faculty: Science
Department: IT
Type of the workshop: International Workshop (Online)
The workshop in brief:

The wide distribution of digital images in social media and electronic devices has made the process of tampering with these images easily available. Hence it is required to discover tampered areas in images and restore original ones. The workshop presented an introduction to digital image manipulation and tempering and their representation in computer systems. In addition, a mathematical representation of lifting wavelet transform which is used in the process of image tamper detection and recovery was presented.

Participants: Around 39 participants from Tishk International University, University Malaysia Perlis-Malaysia, Shuats University-India.

Date and time: May 19-20 , 2021 at 9:00 – 11:00 am.
Place: Online using Google Meet.
