The workshop in brief:

On February 15–16, 2025, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organized a two-day workshop entitled “Art as Therapy for Well-Being & Quality Education” under the theme Art as Therapy | A Day of Creativity & Well-Being.

The workshop focused on promoting mental well-being through freehand coloring and artistic expression in a calm and supportive environment. Participants actively engaged in creative activities that encouraged relaxation, emotional comfort, and positive interaction. On the second day, a small exhibition showcased the participants’ artworks, celebrating creativity and community spirit.

Workshop Objectives

  • To support mental well-being within the university community.
  • To encourage creative learning through artistic expression.
  • To highlight the role of art as a therapeutic tool for relaxation and emotional balance.
  • To create a positive and supportive academic environment.
  • To strengthen community engagement through collaborative artistic activities.
  • To integrate well-being practices into quality education initiatives.

Session 1:
Art as Therapy: Freehand Coloring for Mental Well-Being

Creative Expression & Exhibition

  • Artistic expression as a tool for personal growth
