The workshop in brief:

The National workshop entitled “Education Beyond Certificates – Building the Future of ELT at TIU” explores innovative approaches to English Language Teaching (ELT) that go beyond traditional qualifications. Hosted at Tishk International University (TIU), the event brought together educators, researchers, and the departmental staff to discuss how ELT can evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. Through interactive sessions, individual as well as group discussions, the event emphasized the importance of practical skills, lifelong learning, and the integration of technology and pedagogy. The goal was to advise on ideas, suggestions, and recommendations to make the department more visible, to integrate trending teaching methods and approaches, and to make necessary adjustments in the curriculum to meet the needs of teachers in this modern world of technology and innovation.
